Symptoms

Testing the connection to an Oracle Data server in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio > Topology fails with:

ODI-26039: Connection failed.

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01882: timezone region not found
