Symptoms

Trying to execute an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Mapping or Interface which uses a bind variable fails with the following error stack:

You have already tried to follow Document 1356466.1 - 'java.sql.SQLException: Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1' Error With Procedures In ODI 11g but the same error persists.

The article applies to all releases of ODI like the current 12C as well as to previous releases.
