Unable To Access OVD 11g SSL Configuration From FMW Console After Changing OVD SSL Settings (also applies for OID) (Doc ID 1447029.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g was installed and configured successfully. Further configuration was performed using the Fusion MiddleWare (FMW) Console (/em) pages without problem.

However suddenly it is no longer possible to access OVD Configuration pages.

OVD is shown as down in FMW Enterprise Manager (EM) Console even though the OVD process is running.

Steps to reproduce

1. Access FMW Console -> Identity and Access -> Oracle Virtual Directory -> Administration -> Listeners.
2. Highlight the Admin Gateway Listener then click Edit.
3. In the resulting Edit Listener - Admin Gateway page, SSL Configuration Status shows "Enabled".
4. Click on the "Change SSL Settings" link and the following message is displayed:
