Symptoms
- Slow performance from applications searching many attributes within OID
- Oiddiag output reporting missing indexes
Example:
ODS tables with missing indexes:
CT_MYCUSTOMATT
The Indexes which are missing:
...
ST_MYCUSTOMATT
VA_MYCUSTOMATT
ODS tables with missing indexes:
CT_MYCUSTOMATT
The Indexes which are missing:
...
ST_MYCUSTOMATT
VA_MYCUSTOMATT
- Any attempt to add/delete the attribute using catalog.sh results in error
Example:
catalog connect=<TNS CONNECT STRING>add="TRUE" attribute="mycustomatt"
This tool can only be executed if you know database user password for OID
