OVD 11g Shows Sporadic Performance Problems (Doc ID 1451212.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory ( OVD ) shows sporadic performance problems.

OVD needs up to 60 seconds for LDAP operations, which were executed before in milli seconds.

The performance problem is only shown for a short period ( a few seconds ) and occurs sporadically. ( In LDAP performance tests the spikes were observed for one of some thousand operations ).

The same LDAP operations execute fast before and after the problem occurs.
