WebUtil Error : Oracle.forms.webutil.file.FileFunctions (Doc ID 1457005.1)

Symptoms

 When running Forms with WebUtil the  following error appears after logging into the webutil_demo.fmx form:

  • A search of the PC client shows that the webutil registration files are not  being created on the PC client in:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user>
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\webutil\syslib\VSBCIOSXD36\win32
  • This error occurs even when the files are manually created and placed on the client.

    Other Informaiton

    o The webutil versioning information is appearing in the java console, which indicates the frmwebutil.jar file is being properly downloaded and read on the client.
    o This error is occurring on all machines tested at the customer site. It isn't isolated to a single machine.

    • Changes

     Upgraded application from and earlier version of Forms to a current version of Forms. WebUtil was working properly with the earlier version of Forms.
