Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Configure BPM Process Spaces as per Extending a Domain to Enable Oracle BPM Process Spaces, with wcConfigServices set to false which means the Ant script will NOT create the content repository and discussions connections.  Instead, customer will be using their existing content repository connection and discussions connection defined in Enterprise Manager.

Once configuration is done, restart managed servers as required. Create a new Process Space based on BPM Process Workspace Template-11.1.1.6.  Users will notice the following error when viewing the Process Tracking page of the process space: Content repository connection named "portal-content-server" not found.

In the spaces diagnostic log, the following error can be seen:

[2012-04-12T02:41:23.004+09:00] [WC_Spaces] [WARNING] [WCS-43060] [oracle.webcenter.framework.service.WebCenterConfig] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <USER>] [ecid: <ECID>] [APP: webcenter#11.1.1.4.0] [URI: /webcenter/faces/oracle/webcenter/page/scopedMD/s37587223_58d0_470b_a60e_37c8b5f0a63d/Page6.jspx] The connection named "portal-content-server" cannot be found.
