Indexer Fails Due to Inability to Access the Archives Directory (Doc ID 1457303.1)

Symptoms


On the physical file system for the Content Server, the 'archives' directory is not accessible and is causing errors within the Content Server like the following:

  - Error with touchFile for /app_contribution/app_vendor/OracleUCM/archives/collection.mrk. /app_contribution/app_vendor/OracleUCM/archives/collection.mrk (There is an input or output error.)
  - Indexing aborted. Replication error: Export error for archive '<archivename>' in collection '<collectionname>': File I/O error. Unable to write to file 'exports.hda'
  - Indexing aborted. Directory '/app_contribution/app_vendor/OracleUCM/archives/' does not exist.
