Can the User 'oracle' be Deleted From Oracle Service Registry (OSR)? (Doc ID 1465382.1)

Symptoms

An exception is thrown when trying to remove the default 'oracle' account that is created in Oracle Service Registry.

OSR install - OSR version 11.1.1.2.0 -11.1.1.6.0

Create a Weblogic domain that includes Oracle Service Registry.  Start the server and navigate to the Service Registry Console in a browser window.  Login as an admin and navigate to Manage -> Registry management -> Account management.  Select user 'oracle' and click 'Delete Selected'.  Confirm by clicking 'Yes'.  The following error will display on the console:

Error code: 13001
Message: Fatal error occurs in account management. For help please contact the administrator of the registry.

In the serviceRegistry_errorEvents.log file the following stack trace is logged:
