Get Count of Execute Threads Periodically in WebLogic Server 9.0 and later (Doc ID 1465686.1)

Last updated on APRIL 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

ExecuteThreadCurrentIdleCount and some other MBean values cannot be collected by the weblogic.Admin command after upgrading WebLogic Server from 8.1 to 10.3.x.

Oracle recommends using the WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) for equivalent functionality instead of weblogic.Admin because weblogic.Admin is deprecated as of WebLogic Server 9.0. Here is an example of how to get count of ExecuteThread periodically (every 5 minutes) using WLST.
