Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Large number of re-alerts might be generated, sometimes due to an apparently small number of changes to data records (customer names, time zone changes, etc.).
Changes
If something re-alerts, it is because of a data change either on the customer or list-side. If only a few records changed in the data, that still could result in significant numbers of re-alerts if those customer records happened to match against a lot of list records.
The other thing to consider is that unexpected and entirely coincidental list-side changes can trigger re-alerts. This could produce many re-alerts even if there are no changes to customer data.
