Symptoms
The issue only occurs with Query Folders, not regular folders, along with ACLs for security. It doesn't matter what the query criteria is on the folder.
The user has a role which gives RW permission to the security group for the folder.
As soon as the user tries to navigate into the Query Folder, this error appears in the browser:
