Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo - Version 10.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Tuxedo 10gR3 RP083: If a service is configured with two or more remote domains(aka RDOMS),and the connection policy is ON_DEMAND, the service following the one with multiple rdoms is miss-routed.

When a Tuxedo domains configuration has a CONNECTION_POLICY of ON_DEMAND for the domains and one service is defined with multiple remote domains it is expected that these messages are reported:

LIBGW_CAT:5250: WARN: multiple RDOMs not allowed on REMOTE_SERVICES in ON_DEMAND mode
LIBGW_CAT:5251: WARN: Only the first RDOM for service S1 will be used

But if an additional service is configured following the problem service then the additional service will be miss-routed to a domain in the list of multiple domains of the previous service

For example:

If the connection policy is ON_DEMAND, then S1 will get the above warning messages but a service call to S2 will be miss-routed to RDOM2 instead of RDOM3.
