Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.6 and laterGeneric Windows
Symptoms
The 11.1.1.6.0 version of the WebLogic Server plug-ins (also known as ps5 of v1.1) represented a significant refactoring and improvement of the plug-in code. However, several problems have been reported with this version of the Microsoft IIS plug-in for WebLogic Server:
- The IIS plug-in didn't work correctly with IIS 7.5. Common symptoms included intermittent 503 errors when posting large data sets, intermittent 503 errors when the primary server is down, and exceptions when the URL is not ended with a slash (/). Because of these problems, the IIS plug-in was not initially certified with IIS 7.5 and customers were asked to use IIS 7.0 instead.
- An "Unhandled Win32 exception" was seen in w3wp.exe (the IIS image).
- Files larger than 64k were not handled correctly such that the file was truncated when rendered in the browser.
