Login issue with a CS/CAS cluster (Doc ID 1475023.1)

An example of a cluster environment with CAS clustered:

(CS and CAS are deployed on the same application server instance)


1) Log in via load balancer URL gets timed out right away or redirected to the login page. If only 1 node is up and running, login works with no problems.

2) CAS configuration files appear to be configured correctly:

  • jbossTicketCacheReplicationConfig.xml

3) Notice the following errors littered in futuretense.txt:


        ticket '[ticket_string]' not recognized

[fatwire.logging.cs.xcelerate] [pagename=OpenMarket/Gator/UIFramework/LoadGlobalPopup] Error: com.openmarket.xcelerate.commands.TreeTabManagerDispatcher: GetOrderedSections: com.openmarket.basic.interfaces.AssetException: Argument 'PUBID' is an invalid long: 'SessionVariables.pubid'"
