Symptoms

After enabling Active Directory (AD) for SSL users are unable to login to the WebLogic console and the following error message is reported:

java.lang.RuntimeException: oracle.security.jps.service.idstore.IdentityStoreException: JPS-01520: Cannot initialize identity store, cause: oracle.security.idm.ConfigurationException: oracle.security.idm.ConfigurationException: java.lang.NullPointerException.

Order of providers is WLS Default authenticator then AD. Control flags for both is sufficient.
