Standing Up A Second Weblogic Domain, Managed Server OAM11g STS Will Not Start (Doc ID 1484976.1)

Symptoms

Standing up a second WLS domain on an physical server with an existing WLS. Admin server starts without a problem.

Start up the managed OAM server  returns the following message.

<Security> <BEA-090504> <Certificate chain received from <IP_ADDRESS> - <IP_ADDRESS> failed hostname verification check. Certificate contained <HOSTNAME> but check expected <IP_ADDRESS>>. <IP_ADDRESS> is the new IP bound to the NIC for the second domain, <HOSTNAME> is the host name of the box as well as hostname of the 1st Weblogic domain
