Symptoms
Once many predefined accounts have been created, the process of creating more predefined accounts is very slow. If you have only a few predefined accounts, then accounts can be predefined at the rate of several per second. Once you have many thousands (e.g. in this case 70,000), it takes over a second to create one account. Furthermore, if you try to use the Standard Search or Check-In forms, the form never returns because the Account field is being populated with a dropdown list of many thousands of accounts.
