Symptoms
Unable to run the 7.5 installer in a headless environment. If you run the silent installer and no DISPLAY variable is set, you will receive the following message in the terminal:
"Installation requires that your DISPLAY variable be set. Please set it, and try again."
If you set the DISPLAY variable, but you do not have an X client running, you will receive the following message in the terminal:
"X connection to localhost:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown)."
