EM-02007 Error While Registering Peoplesoft Portlet Producer In Webcenter (Doc ID 1486823.1)

Symptoms

Following the instructions in this blog for registering the PeopleSoft WSRP Provider in WebCenter:

  1. Register the Producer in EM, the WSRP Producer is selected as the Producer type.
  2. The  PeopleSoft WSDL URL is entered: http://<HOST>:<PORT>/pspc/pswsdl/psdev/EMPLOYEE?wsdl
  3. The Connection test returns "Test Connection Successful" , so the URL seems to be correct.
  4. However, the registration fails and the following message appears:
