Last updated on SEPTEMBER 28, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.6.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Given an 11g environment as follows: UCM 11.1.1.6 with the May opatch, or via the Configuration page: 11gR1-11.1.1.6.0-idcprod1-120522T075108 (Build:7.3.3.183)

if you have an integer metadata field, say xMyIntField, and a Security Group, say These_Groups

The following queryText fails to execute:

xMyIntField > `1234` dSecurityGroup `These_Groups`

...with the error:

Unable to retrieve search results. Invalid characters in the number 'These_Groups'. Runtime error: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "These_Groups"

However, simply swapping the two expressions the following query works fine in the same environment :

dSecurityGroup `These_Groups` xMyIntField > `1234`
