Symptoms

You have WebCenter Spaces 11g and WebCenter Content 11g installed.

You are using the Advanced Search portlet provided in the WebCenter Spaces Portal product to search the WebCenter Content repository.

The search fails with this error:  Error occurred when calling service "GET_SEARCH_RESULTS"

Note: The same search functions properly and returns the proper results when using the Webcenter Content WebUI.
