When Using the Input Agent to Index a Document, error "TCM-02016: The file name is invalid. A file name must have a file extension, cannot be empty or null, and cannot include any path information." occurs. (Doc ID 1487290.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to use the input agent to index a document the following error occurs.

TCM-02016: The file name is invalid. A file name must have a file extension, cannot be empty or null, and cannot include any path information.

The issue can be reproduced by creating a target document without an extension and reference it in an input file.

Due to this issue, images are not getting into Imaging for processing.
