The note below will focus on the interaction between forms and a Database instance and how we can identify when forms is affected by a database issue.

I. How to identify connectivity issues or delays between Forms and a DB instance
- Tnsping
- SQL*net trace
II. How to troubleshoot possible issues on DB side :
- Dynamic views
- SGA Memory
- Invalid and unusable objects
- Database errors
- Blocking sessions ( locks )
- Connection timeout
- SESSION_CACHED_CURSORS
