Query Folder Display And Save May Result In Error (Doc ID 1493511.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to save or view query folders, an error may be displayed depending on the user's security credentials.

Set up a system with the the latest OPatch.
Use FrameworkFolders. Make sure accounts are setup and used.
Create some non-admin users that have rights to some sample accounts and to documents without accounts.

As one of these non-admin users, create and save a query folder. I would create a query folder that actually has some docs.
The easiest way to create a query folder is just to do a search and then you can save the results as a query folder.

PROVIDE A CLEAR DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTUAL RESULTS, AS WELL AS THE EXPECTED
  RESULTS, FROM REPRODUCING THE PROBLEM.

Changes

Lots of data added to the server recently.  This issue only appears with large data sets where long query times become an issue.
