Symptoms
On WLS 12.1.1.0 Authentication API assertIdentity() provided by weblogic.servlet.security.ServletAuthentication fails to work.For instance noticing that call to AuthenticationServlet.assertIdentity() fails when logs show a committed subject and you notice below trace
This worked fine in WLS 10.3.5 and you notice the issue only in WLS 12c.
