OID Bulkdelete Command Hangs (Doc ID 1494708.1)

Around 20 million entries were loaded under one tree using bulkload on an installation consisting of

The entries were loaded successfully.
It was then attempted to delete the entire tree using the 'bulkdelete' command:

./bulkdelete connect="OIDDB" <basedn> cleandb=TRUE

The command ran for more than 2 days, so it had to be stopped.

Checking in ODSM browser the tree structure was not available but doing a search for a particular entry under that tree returned results with values.
