Cannot add any assets into Named Associations after upgrading to Sites 11g (Doc ID 1497390.1)

Symptoms

The user is unable to add assets into named associations on Basic assets after upgrading from Sites 7.x to 11g.

The edit form shows named associations, each with an Edit button, an input box containing the associated asset's name, an Add Selected Items button, and a delete icon.

The normal Sites 11g interface has drop zones instead of input boxes and buttons.

Other symptoms may include:

• When creating a new Basic asset, the tab bar doesn't show the Save button.
• The new/edit form for Basic assets has grey Cancel and Save Changes buttons, not in the bar but in the form itself.
