How to export Elements using CSDT (Doc ID 1500990.1)

Goal

An export with the command-line version of the ContentServer Developer Tools (CSDT) using
 - resources=Template fromSites=mySite resources=@ALL_ASSETS:*
and
 - resources=Template fromSites=mySite resources=@ALL_NON_ASSETS:*
only exports some elements to the {datastore}/src/_metadata/ELEMENTS/ directory. Not all of our customisations are exported.

How can we export all required elements?
