Beehive Beectl Fails when Database Sqlnet.ora Has "SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION = 10" (Doc ID 1502963.1)

Symptoms

In a Beehive 2.0.1.7 environment, after setting the property "SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION=10" in the file sqlnet.ora on the server side,
Beehive fails to start through "beectl start --all" command.

The error log from the command contains the following:

 


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open and edit sqlnet.ora to have property "SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION=10
2. Save
3. Attempt to start Beehive using the "beectl start -all" command


Due to this issue, sqlnet logon cannot be restricted to version 10.
