Symptoms
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g or 11g.
Configuring LDAP based OID Replication, bootstrap from Supplier to Replica/Consumer skip entries with no log errors.
Attemtping to sync the entries using oidcmprec operation=reconcile instead, the resulting err file (i.e., <OID_SUPPLIER_HOSTNAME>_<SUPPLIER_ID>.<OID_REPLICA/CONSUMER_HOSTNAME>_<REPLICA/CONSUMER_ID>.<date>.<time>.err) shows the following message for the entries affected:
[2012-10-25T16:25:01-04:00] [OID] [NOTIFICATION:16] [] [OIDCMPRECONCILE] [host: <OID_REPLICA/CONSUMER_HOSTNAME> [pid: <PID>] [tid: <TID>] gslrtrdDnQThread: cn=<USER\_USER>,cn=users,dc=<DOMAIN_NAME>,dc=com is invalid DN. It is ignored.
