Symptoms
You are installing UCM on Windows, using a UNC path with a Windows "hidden" share. Because it is a hidden share there is a dollar sign in the path,e.g. \\server\hiddenShare$\idcm1
You are able to get the Content Server installed, but then cannot start it. You see an error like this;
This can happen with a single node UCM server, or the first node of a cluster after you have configured the various shared folders. That is, the node may start successfully using local folders, but fail when configured to use one or more shared folders that use a hidden share.
