Symptoms

While following instructions in "Exalogic Patch Set Update (PSU) Release v1.0.0.7.0 (Solaris ONLY) for October 2012 <Note 1498670.1>" for a new Exalogic Rack setup, the hardware check failed:

 


Changes

The workaround is to edit the file:

             /opt/exalogic/usr/lib/init-exalogic-node/supported_config

and change the line:

     SUN_MANUFACTURER="SUN MICROSYSTEMS"            

to
     SUN_MANUFACTURER="Oracle Corporation"
