Symptoms
Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g is installed on a server, for which there is a requirement to change the host name and/or the ip address of the server.
The correct steps to update the product configuration have been followed as outlined in:
However, after performing the recommended steps the Fusion Middleware Console (fmwc) 11g is still showing the OPMN-managed system components with the old host name or IP Address.
Also note that Change Host Name, IP Address is only supported for Webtier components (Oracle Web Cache and Oracle HTTP Server).
