Oracle GlassFish Server 3.1.2 Admin Server Process Dies on Solaris 11.1 But Works on Solaris 11 (Doc ID 1509680.1)

Symptoms

Following upgrade to Solaris 11.1 from Solaris 11, the GlassFish Domain Administration Server (DAS) process dies abruptly.
It works fine on Solaris 11 without the upgrade.

NOTE: This problem is reproducible on any browser but is most prone to happen on the Chrome browser.

 

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1 - Download JDK7u9, Glassfish or OGS 3.1.2.2
2 - Create a zone in Solaris 11.1 (Although the issue can also be reproduced in a Global zone).
3 - Start and configure Glassfish server, enable secure console.
4 - Access   server:4848    with Chrome.
5 - Enter admin credentials
6 - Wait for some time, it should not load the admin console.
7 - Note that the Java process has died.

This can be seen in truss output as shown below:
