Last updated on SEPTEMBER 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.5.4 to 11.1.1.5.4 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using Oracle WebCenter Spaces 11.1.1.5.0 when clicking on the name of a poster (user) in a spaces Message Board, an error message is shown saying that a user is not available in the configured identity store. The name shown in this error message is not that of the selected user however, it is the name (url) of the current Space.

For example, username name is ‘weblogic’ and when the user posts a message in the Space ‘testingmessageboards’ and clicks on user name, the following message appears:

User testingmessageboards not available in the configured identity store. The user may have been removed from the system.
