JBO-29000 NullPointerException in FacesTemplateContainerDef.java, Internal Error 500 or Browser Looping Infinitely When Accessing WebCenter Framework Application (Doc ID 1514642.1)

Symptoms

On  11.1.1.6 Webcenter Portal Framework Application, when attempting to access the application, the following occurs in the browser :

     - Goes into an infinite loop or

     - Displays Internal Error 500

 

The error  in the Manager Server log is:

oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.NullPointerException, msg=null
