(Doc ID 1515728.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 19, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Tuxedo - Version 11.1.1.2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
dmunloadcf generates LTPNAME=* on Tuxedo 11.1.1.2, where it should generate directly LTPNAME="*" so a user can dump and compile a dm file without editing it.
To reproduce this issue, follow the step by step here after:
- create domain configuration file(domconfig) where you specified LTPNAME="*"
- to generate the binary configuration: dmloadcf -y dmconfig
- to generate domain configuration file via dmunloadcf (dmconfig2), run: dmunloadcf > dmconfig2
- run dmloadcf command against the dmconfig file generated at previous step: dmloadcf -y dmconfig2
Then you would get error like:
It should print "*" instead of *
