(Doc ID 1520614.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
This is applicable only to WebCenter Content (WCC) servers that utilize the SES database for Oracle Text Search indexing, as laid out in <Note: 1338850.1>
Doing searches within the WCC will return the correct number of actual content items but the total count will be inflated.
Example:
The WCC contains 10,000 items.
Doing a SELECT count(*) FROM IdcText1 (or IdcText2 if it' is the active index) will list 10,000 rows.
A Quick Search will show the page count as 500 (500 pages with 20 items per page).
However, the Search Results will show Items 1-20 of 5000000.
