Last updated on MAY 17, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Unified Directory
Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This document illustrates how it is possible to use OUD as DIP backend when doing OUD 11gR2 - ODSEE 5.2 synchronization/migration.

DIP is used to synchronise ODSEE 5.2 data and OUD 11g R2 data via synchronization profiles.
The way to proceed is to create:
import/export synchronization profiles for users and groups respectively.

It is possible to have several synchronization profiles active at the same time.

This KM document should be considered as the first migration step between ODSEE 5.2 data and OUD 11gR2. It describes how to create a user import synchronization profile between ODSEE 5.2 users and OUD users.

Other migration shoudl be also considered, but are not considered in this document
-customer specific schema
-password synchronization
-ACIs
-specific ODSEE features (COS, ....)
