(Doc ID 1522491.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 9.2 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In many scenarios there could be issues where the WLS process is terminated due to some critical error that may be caused due to a failure of a critical server subsystem. There might also be cases where the WLS process exits without generating any sort of valuable information in the server logs or the standard out file. This document provides a way to capture a heap dump and thread dump when the JVM shuts down, which will provide some sort of debugging information.
