Sharing Webcenter Space Activity Leads To LDAP Error (Doc ID 1522669.1)

Symptoms

When a user do some changes in his profile like updating the photo, this creates an entry in the activity stream. This Activity entry has a share link.
Sharing this Activity, under WebCenter Spaces Activity Stream, creates a link to that activity which is not working. When user clicks on that link it is redirected to a blank page (/webcenter/faces/owResource.jspx) and throws an exception in the log.
