Symptoms

Unable to access assets created by users that were not migrated into LDAP:

The following error is seen in the UI:

An exception occurred on the server while
executing UI/Data/Asset/AssetMetadata:
NullPointerException: If problem persists please
contact the system administrator.

In the sites.log, the following error is seen:
