Symptoms
We have had customers report to us that when upgrading between Oracle iPlanet Web Server versions the session manager behavior has changed. We have also found that customer have built their application around the session manager functionality, such as the files written out by the file based session manager in iWS6.x. This document explains Oracle's position with the built in session managers that come with the iPlanet Web Container.
