WebCenter Distributed Capture Client does not Install on Windows 7 (32-bit) Systems (Doc ID 1525079.1)

Symptoms

On a Windows 7 (32-bit system) running IE 8 the WebCapture.asp page does install the WebCenter Distributed Capture (formerly Oracle Distributed Document Capture) client. When viewing the warning message at the bottom of the browser it displays:

Object doesn't support this property or method: 'ecnCleint.XMLHttpRequest'
WebCapture.Asp Line: 38
Code: 0 Char 7
URI: http://host:81/WebCapture.Asp?script=1

  Although this problem was observed on Windows 7 (32-bit) machines, it is possible that this could also happen on other Operating Systems / bitsets.
