Symptoms

You have created a Weblogic Datasource and later referenced it in an Application Module of your ADF application.
When you try to get a connection in ADF, it is not coming from the existing connections. It keeps opening new connections.
Example : WLS connection pool value is set to 50. Currently you have 100 users accessing the system but the connection pool is getting maxed out on a daily basis and you get below errors in WLS logs:
