Goal

How do you get rid of cancelled jobs that are shown in WLS console under "scheduled jobs" ?

When using the the Job Scheduler functionality you may want to cancel a job. To do so :

* Go to the Administration Console --> expand Environment and select Servers.

* Select the server on which the jobs you want to cancel are scheduled.

* Select Control > Jobs to display a list of scheduled jobs for that server

* Select the check boxes next to the jobs you want to cancel, then click cancel

The cancel jobs button was introduced with WLS 10.3.0. However there's no way to get rid of canceled jobs that are shown in the WLS Console under "scheduled jobs" .

The jobs are simply canceled and as such they will never be reused but they are still shown under the "Scheduled jobs" panel

According to our documentation canceled jobs obviously just are obsolete:

Statement is:
" ..... Once a Timer is canceled an application must not use the Timer instance again. ....."

As there is no mechanism to purge the cancelled jobs all jobs are displayed until the limitation of 50 jobs displayed is reached. then the oldest jobs are removed.
