OAM 11g Custom Plug-in Deactivation Fails (Doc ID 1531183.1)

Goal

When a custom plugin is selected in OAM Console and Deactivate Selected is clicked, the operation appears to complete successfully - there are no errors displayed.

However the Remove Selected button remains greyed out and when the Plug-ins table is refreshed the Activation Status of the custom plugin is "Deactivate failed".


Why has deactivation failed? How can this be resolved?
