Symptoms

After adding a new Picklist value to the WebCenter Capture pick list, the commit process fails with the following error:

***Error*** Failed to commit document on commit profile [IPM]. Error Number: 40008, Error: Commit Profile - IPM: The following error was reported by ReleaseDocument. Error Number: 4012 Error Description: Failed to create new I/PM document. Exception: oracle.imaging.ValidationException: TCM-00888: The value "xxxxxxx" is not contained in the picklist. Field: Id - ##, Name - <Field_Name>
