System Changes Filename by Adding Copy(1), can a Warning be Displayed when this Happens?

Goal
on 11.1.1.6.0 using framework folders:
Step 1: Login as user1
Step 2: Check a file into a contribution Folder
Step 3: Check the same file in the same folder
In Step 3 the system checks the file in and also changed the file name by prefixing it with Copy(1).
It is desired to have a warning displayed before this action occurs such as:
"Is it possible for the system to prompt the user to say that the file name will be changed if they continue?"
